UKSPI holds public meetings twice a month on a Monday night between 8pm and 10pm. UKSPI has been meeting at the Allsorts Psychic Cafe since Autumn of 2004. The cafe can hold up to 40 people over two rooms, and is used by UKSPI to meet.

At the Psychic Cafe, UKSPI members come together to chat and discuss the paranormal as well as other topics. UKSPI strongly believes that meeting up regularly before investigations is far better for team sprit and team work that for members to turn up and try and work together. UKSPI meetings brings the members together, and promotes a close relationship between the organisations and its members. UKSPI uses meetings to integrate new members into the organisation, because we know how difficult it can be for new members to break into a new group. We believe that this is important to the research of a group, and confident members yield better results.

UKSPI also offers a paranormal 'Happy Hour' between 7pm and 8pm so that members of the public can drop into the Psychic cafe and talk to the UKSPI management and chat about their ideas and what they want from UKSPI without being put infront of a large group of members. Most of all, during our 'Happy Hour' you'll be with other new members who are also feeling as cautious as you! If you would like more information about the 'UKSPI Happy Hour' then please e-mail us for more information.

UKSPI meets are not only for getting to know each other. We know that those who join UKSPI are wanting to learn more about the paranormal. UKSPI meetings also include training workshops and discussion topics. We know that the idea of a 'workshop' can seem like a lot of work, but this is not true. UKSPI workshops are a hands on, learning experience. Most organisations do this, but UKSPI does it differently. We know that it's pretty pointless to learn how to use an EMF meter without knowing the theory and logic behind it. UKSPI offers a training course in the current and past theories of paranormal investigation.

UKSPI feels that members have more of an understanding of the paranormal before they join the group. We also know that new members have ideas and beliefs that might be different from other people. UKSPI believes that everyone's opinion is important, so at meetings we introduce a discussion theme of the meeting. After the training session, we open out a topic and question to the floor allowing each and every member to discuss their opinion on a chosen topic. We also advance this further by allowing a member to take over one of our meetings and give a presentation on a chosen topic. If you are into tarot cards, we let you give a talk on tarot cards, if your a spiritual healer, than you can give us a demonstration combined with a talk. When you come to UKSPI, you don't just go on investigations......you get to learn new skills, while you teach other people your skills and knowledge.
